Composition

Made from 96% recycled polyester and 4% elastane for fulfillment in the US and Mexico, or 95% recycled polyester and 5% elastane for fulfillment in Latvia. The 308 g/m² fabric has a soft cotton-feel face and a brushed fleece interior. Following Printful’s 2026 fabric update in Latvia, its construction is fluffier and offers improved resistance to pilling.

Desclaimer

Due to the all-over printing process, the white base fabric may show slightly at seams and folds, particularly around the cuffs, hem, and hood. In double-layered areas, details from the inner printed layer may subtly show through lighter designs. If the standard fabric is temporarily unavailable, Printful may use a closely comparable substitute.

What is recycled polyester?

Recycled polyester (rPET for short) is a fabric that’s produced from synthetic fibers. Recycled polyester is produced by recycling existing materials (like plastic bottles and packaging) but still has all the characteristics and performance as a regular polyester, making it a more sustainable fabric alternative.

How’s recycled polyester made?

Recycled polyester is made by crushing plastic products into small pieces. These small pieces are then processed into yarn, transformed into a fiber, and in the end—made into a fabric.

What are the advantages of recycled polyester?

Producing rPet takes 33% to 53% less energy than creating polyester from scratch. Also, rPet produces approximately 54.6% fewer CO2 emissions to the air than virgin polyester. 

Using recycled materials helps give plastic waste a second life—keeping it out of landfills and transforming it into bold, wearable art. Every piece crafted from recycled fabric is a small act of resistance against throwaway culture, blending style with purpose.

Traceability

The fabric is knitted and dyed in Mexico or China. The finished garment is manufactured in Mexico or Latvia, depending on the fulfillment location.
